It has been another crazy year. The cold winter delayed the flowers, but it could not diminish our spirits! As the Festival organizer, we at the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) were positively overwhelmed support for the 2015 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival. We had a tremendous showing throughout the week of events. Sakura Sunday drew 12,000 people for the second consecutive year. Our inaugural Cherry Blossom 10K challenged a record number of runners. And really all of the events seems full of bright, smiling, engaged faces. We hope that you’ll consider joining us at other programs throughout the year.
We’d like to thank everyone who made the 2015 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival possible. Whether you performed, vended, sponsored, volunteered, bid, ran, photographed, sang, ate, or participated in some other way, your involvement in the festival was crucial to its success. We’re lucky to have such an amazing partner in our title sponsor Subaru of America and tremendous support from all of our sponsors and partners. To all the performers – You were all incredible! We can’t thank you enough for lending your talents. To our volunteers – you guys are the best. Special thanks to the City of Philadelphia, our production team at SPW Productions, and PR team at SFPR for making things happen.
While the events may be over, we’ve still got blossoms. Go out and enjoy them while they last. See you again in 2016! THANK YOU!
