2024 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia
The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese arts and culture organized by Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP), with tremendous support from title sponsor Subaru of America, Inc.
Featuring a variety of events throughout the city, this yearly festival brings a taste of Japan to Philadelphia and highlights the beauty of Japanese sakura—the flowering cherry trees that brighten city streets and parks with their distinctive pink and white blossoms.
Festival Schedule
As the annual Cherry Blossom Festival’s centerpiece event, Sakura Weekend will take place on Saturday, April 13, 10am–5pm, and Sunday, April 14, 10am–4pm. A list of participating vendors, artists, and sponsors and the 2024 Sakura Weekend map and program schedule is now available to download.

Free Admission
Admission to Sakura Weekend is not ticketed and is free and open to the public.

Sakura Weekend
The centerpiece event of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival is a celebration of Japanese arts and culture alongside the blossoming cherry trees of Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

Sakura Weekend – Sunday Programs >>This free and public festival event held on Saturday and Sunday, will include music and dance performances, activities for the whole family, an artist’s market, food vendors, a beer garden, and much more! Over a dozen local food and merchandise vendors are scheduled to participate, including Maido!, Triple Bottom Brewing, Urasenke Philadelphia, and more.
