Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japan under the cherry blossoms in Fairmount Park. Sakura Sunday is an all-day celebration of all things Japanese, from live music, dance, and martial arts performances to fashion shows, arts and crafts, karaoke, and much more.
Sakura Sunday is held at Fairmount Park’s Horticulture Center, home to hundreds of blooming cherry trees – including two from 1926. Bring family, friends, pets, and a picnic and enjoy a beautiful day of arts and culture beneath the blossoms!

Vehicles are not permitted to park at the Horticulture Center.
Parking is available for $10 per vehicle at the Mann Center grounds. This lot offers complimentary shuttle service to the festival. Alternatively, the lot is under 10 minutes walking distance from the festival entrance.
Handicapped parking is available in the paid lot. A handicap accesible shuttle is available to take guests to the entrance.
Shuttle Buses from 30th Street
From 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM, shuttle buses will be departing for the Horticulture Center from the Old Post Office Building across Market St. from 30th Street Station. Buses will depart roughly every 15 to 20 minutes*. Bus fare is included in the admission price. The last bus to Center City departing the Horticulture Center at 5:30 PM.
*Due to road conditions and traffic, bus arrival and departure timings are subject to fluctuation. We ask that you please be patient while waiting for buses.
